Sales Engineer – Agricultural Machinery

About the role

The Sales Engineer will act as the technical bridge between AgroAcres Group’s agricultural machinery and input solutions and its customers in Khartoum. Working on‑site, you will present equipment, match products to client needs, and drive the full sales cycle to support modern farming operations.

Key responsibilities

• Present and explain tractors, harvesters and other farm equipment, as well as seeds, fertilizers and related inputs.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales contracts tailored to customer requirements.
• Conduct site visits, provide basic technical guidance and coordinate with the service team for complex issues.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up leads, maintain customer relationships and strive to meet sales targets.
• Record activities in the CRM system, gather market feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve offerings.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering ability with the capacity to translate technical specifications into clear customer benefits.
• Proven experience in sales and customer service, preferably within agriculture or mechanical engineering.
• Background in agriculture, mechanical engineering or a related field; diploma or degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Khartoum, travel to client locations and operate safely around heavy machinery.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software for managing leads and sales data.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic troubleshooting and technical support for agricultural equipment.
