Business Mentor & Consultant (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

The FAST program, supported by the Mastercard Foundation and implemented by Inkomoko, seeks experienced entrepreneurs to mentor early‑stage African founders. As a Business Mentor & Consultant you will provide strategic guidance to youth‑led ventures during a six‑month, part‑time engagement, working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one virtual discovery meetings to assess each venture’s current stage and identify critical gaps.
• Prepare an Assessment Report that highlights strategic focus areas for maximum impact.
• Offer tailored advisory support on business regulations, modeling, strategic planning, financial management, sales & marketing, product development, and investment readiness.
• Help founders effectively allocate their FAST grant funding and prepare for scaling.

Required profile

• Established entrepreneur with hands‑on experience launching and scaling early‑stage businesses.
• Deep motivation to support inclusive growth for young women, refugees, displaced persons, and persons with disabilities.
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week for the six‑month duration.
