Course Instructor – Geoscience & Engineering Training (Remote)

About the role

Corex Training Institute is seeking experienced professionals to design, deliver, and continuously improve remote training programs in geoscience and related engineering disciplines. As a Course Instructor you will translate complex exploration and development workflows into engaging learning experiences for a global audience of geologists, engineers, and GIS specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update curricula, presentations, exercises, case studies, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
• Facilitate live remote sessions, provide mentorship, and deliver individualized feedback to learners.
• Collaborate with consulting and technical teams to integrate current industry examples and data.
• Maintain course documentation, LMS content, and contribute to the continuous improvement of training quality.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and coordinate schedules across time zones.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in geoscience or related fields (geology, geophysics, petroleum or mining engineering, remote sensing, GIS).
• Proven experience designing and delivering technical training, workshops, or university‑level courses.
• Ability to create clear instructional materials that reflect real‑world workflows.
• Proficiency with digital teaching tools such as video‑conferencing platforms, learning management systems, and collaborative online workspaces.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment and manage schedules across multiple time zones.
• Relevant academic background (bachelor’s or master’s degree in a geoscience‑related discipline).
