Operations Officer (TA) – UNICEF Khartoum

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Operations Officer (TA) for its Khartoum country office. Working under the Finance Specialist and Deputy Representative Operations, you will ensure that all VISION transactions are processed accurately and in line with UNICEF’s SOPs, supporting the efficient delivery of financial services for field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input and oversight for VISION transaction processing, ensuring compliance with policies and benchmarks.
• Interpret and apply VISION/business procedures to support the office’s operational work.
• Manage the VISION Hub team, monitor role‑mapping, Table of Authority and release strategies.
• Coordinate with sections to handle HACT‑related financial transactions and fund commitments.
• Contribute to the improvement of SOPs, establishment of KPIs and workflow documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in finance or operations within an international organization.
• Familiarity with UNICEF’s financial systems and procedures.
• Ability to work under supervision while coordinating across multiple units.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Required skills

• SAP (VISION) system proficiency.
• HACT financial management system knowledge.
