Finance Officer – Grans and Partnerships

About the role

The Finance Officer – Grans and Partnerships will manage partner registrations, payments and liquidations for SCI, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and supporting field programmes across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Register SCI partners in the Agresso accounting system after reviewing documentation.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Payables team to process partner payments.
• Review and submit partner liquidations to the Finance Manager for posting.
• Maintain hard‑copy and digital filing of supporting documents on SharePoint.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to local partners.
• Ensure correct use of internal financial tools, develop additional solutions where needed.
• Support country teams to meet financial management standards and comply with SCI policies.
• Collaborate with the country finance team and build strong links with implementing partners.
• Maintain partner and payment trackers.

Required profile

• Accounting degree; CPA/CA/ACCA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years progressive experience in financial management, audit or compliance within not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Proven ability to solve complex issues, prepare financial and management accounts, and work independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• High cultural awareness, integrity and ethics.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field programmes.

Required skills

• MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with complex financial systems (Agresso).
• SharePoint for document management.
• Financial modelling and analytical skills.
