Computer Skills Trainer – In‑Person Training in Khartoum

About the role

SkillSudan is looking for a Computer Skills Trainer to deliver hands‑on, in‑person training in Khartoum. You will teach essential computer literacy, productivity tools, and practical digital skills to graduates and young professionals, helping them become job‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom‑based training sessions on operating systems, internet use, and basic troubleshooting.
• Plan lessons, prepare learning materials, and design practical exercises for beginner and intermediate learners.
• Assess learners’ needs, provide individualized feedback, and monitor attendance and performance.
• Create and update course content, ensuring it aligns with employer expectations.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the SkillSudan team to continuously improve training programs.

Required profile

• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with operating systems, internet navigation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience teaching or training computer skills in a classroom or workshop setting.
• Ability to design clear lesson plans and practical exercises.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with patience and empathy for diverse learners.
• Organizational skills for scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
• Familiarity with common office productivity tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Education, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly beneficial.
