Senior Programme Support Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Programme Support Associate to strengthen its mission in Sudan. Reporting to the Programme Support Officer and working closely with the Chief of Mission, the incumbent will assist in project development, reporting, and partnership coordination to advance IOM’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and compile information on funding and partnership opportunities across national and sub‑regional contexts.
• Support the preparation of project proposals, concept notes, and donor reports by coordinating inputs from relevant units and partners.
• Facilitate compliance with donor requirements and IOM standards throughout the project cycle.
• Assist the Programme Support Officer in programme coordination, reporting, and partnership‑related activities.
• Liaise with Regional Thematic Specialists, Headquarters, and other IOM units to ensure alignment with global, regional, and country strategies.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience in international development, migration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in programme support, project development, or donor reporting within an international organization.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
