Senior MEAL Coordinator

About the role

The Senior MEAL Coordinator will support the Programs Director and work closely with the Regional Measurement Advisor to strengthen monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning across IRC programmes in Sudan. This role is central to ensuring data‑driven decision‑making and improving the impact of humanitarian interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program, grants and support teams to optimise monitoring systems and processes.
• Lead the collection, analysis and reporting of programme data to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with IRC’s MEAL standards, donor requirements and humanitarian best practices.
• Facilitate learning sessions and knowledge sharing across field bases.
• Support the development of indicators, tools and methodologies for effective measurement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in MEAL within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Solutions‑driven, passionate about delivering impact for vulnerable populations.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with diverse programme and support teams.
