Program Manager, Food & Cash Assistance

About the role

World Vision Sudan, in partnership with the World Food Programme, is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Food and Cash Assistance programme in White Nile and South Kordofan. The role will establish the new White Nile State office and ensure delivery of food, nutrition, school meals and resilience activities to roughly 500,000 beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and ensure compliance with WFP and World Vision International standards.
• Plan, implement and monitor cash and food assistance, nutrition and school‑feeding components.
• Set up and manage the White Nile State office, recruiting and building capacity of staff.
• Oversee commodity logistics – receipt, storage, distribution and reporting in line with donor requirements.
• Identify capacity gaps, organise trainings and ensure accurate, timely reporting to donors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate development of project proposals, concept notes and grant acquisition activities.
• Facilitate collaboration with WFP, government ministries, other partners and internal sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale humanitarian food and cash assistance programmes.
• Strong knowledge of WFP and World Vision policies, standards and reporting procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and lead a new field office.
• Excellent coordination skills with government agencies, donors and multi‑sector partners.
• Relevant tertiary education in humanitarian assistance, development studies, logistics or a related field.
