Grants Management Coordinator

About the role

The Grants Management Coordinator based in Port Sudan will support DRC’s programmes in Sudan by ensuring timely donor communication, high‑quality reporting, and effective management of grant proposals and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver narrative and financial reports that accurately reflect project progress.
• Lead CE/NCE processes and coordinate Go/No‑Go decisions for assigned grants.
• Manage end‑to‑end proposal development, including drafting generic sections, consolidating technical and budget inputs, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Facilitate consortium proposals, develop teaming agreements, set timelines, and coordinate SharePoint collaboration.
• Maintain the DRC grants management system (Dynamics ERP), update grant records, track instalments, and manage documentation.
• Support donor relationships, ensure compliance, and lead due‑diligence assessments.
• Participate in programme cycle meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action points.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grants management, donor reporting, and proposal development within an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Strong coordination skills with programme, finance, and field teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure compliance with donor guidelines.
