About the role
The Training Manager will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of safety and security training programmes for NGOs operating in Sudan. Reporting to the INSO Sudan coordination team, the role supports partner organisations in a volatile context.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and adapt training curricula on safety, security and crisis management for humanitarian staff.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, orientations and e‑learning sessions for partner NGOs.
- Monitor training impact, collect feedback and produce analytical reports.
- Collaborate with the coordination team to align training with real‑time incident tracking and mapping data.
- Maintain a training database and ensure documentation is up‑to‑date.
Required profile
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programmes in humanitarian or security contexts.
- Strong understanding of safety coordination, incident tracking and crisis management.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
- Ability to work in insecure environments and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
