Remote Game Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Game Developer to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. This fully remote position focuses on creating and optimizing gameplay mechanics for a Micro1‑based platform, collaborating closely with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality gaming experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug game mechanics, systems, and features using Micro1 frameworks and tools.
• Optimize performance, including frame rates, memory usage, and load times for smooth gameplay.
• Write clean, maintainable code in languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
• Test and validate functionality, working with QA teams to resolve bugs.
• Integrate graphics, audio, and animation assets into the Micro1 environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Hands‑on experience integrating and developing on the Micro1 platform.
• Strong understanding of game physics, collision detection, and rendering techniques.
• Ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
