Project Manager – Sudan (Humanitarian)

About the role
INTERSOS is seeking a Project Manager to lead humanitarian interventions in Sudan. Based in Port Sudan, the role will involve travelling across the Red Sea, White Nile and Ghadarif states to oversee project activities in a challenging conflict‑affected environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor project activities in line with INTERSOS standards and donor requirements.
- Coordinate with the Head of Mission and functional supervisors to ensure alignment with overall mission objectives.
- Supervise project staff, providing guidance and ensuring effective teamwork.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, challenges and financial expenditures.
- Maintain liaison with local authorities, partners and beneficiaries to facilitate smooth operations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within humanitarian or protection contexts.
- Ability to work in insecure and rapidly changing environments.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across multiple states in Sudan.
