Programme Coordinator – Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Coordinator to lead the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) programme in Sudan. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Head of Programmes, the incumbent will work closely with the Regional DTM Coordinator in Cairo to implement DTM activities across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the DTM programme, including emergency‑related tracking and monitoring of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees.
• Set up and maintain DTM mechanisms such as flow monitoring, site assessments and other information‑gathering systems.
• Oversee registration of IDPs, conduct assessment missions, and perform village and site monitoring.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis and reporting on population movements throughout Sudan.
• Collaborate with governmental, inter‑governmental and non‑governmental partners to ensure accurate and timely information.

Required profile

• Applicants from IOM first‑tier (internal or from under‑represented member states) and second‑tier candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Preference is given to qualified female candidates and those with experience in humanitarian displacement tracking.
• Strong understanding of migration and displacement contexts.

Required skills

• Experience with displacement tracking, population monitoring or related humanitarian data collection.
• Familiarity with DTM methodologies and tools.
