Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead daily manufacturing operations at Aswam Pharmaceuticals' Khartoum facility, ensuring that production meets quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organize production schedules, monitor workflow and optimize resource utilization across multiple lines.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, maintenance and logistics to secure materials, minimise downtime and support audits.
• Lead, coach and evaluate production staff, implement SOPs and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
• Prepare production reports, track performance metrics and address operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical‑device or related manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities in a fast‑paced, on‑site setting.

Required skills

• Production planning and scheduling expertise.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance and risk‑mitigation practices.
• Proficiency with production management systems, basic ERP tools and standard office software.
