Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the finance function at a subsidiary level in Khartoum, ensuring accurate financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role connects holding‑level requirements with company‑level execution, delivering reliable financial data and sound management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team, overseeing day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Ensure adherence to group financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and treasury functions.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and key vendors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and controls.
• Provide financial insights and business partnering support to operational departments.
• Submit timely and accurate financial reports to the Group Finance Manager and coach the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.

Required skills

• ERP proficiency, especially in general ledger and reporting modules.
