Country Finance Manager – Sudan

About the role

Humanity & Inclusion is seeking a Country Finance Manager to lead its finance team in Khartoum for a six‑month contract starting 1 September 2026. The role supports the organisation’s expanding humanitarian response in Sudan, ensuring financial operations align with both HI standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team responsible for the country programme.
• Ensure compliance with Humanity & Inclusion’s financial standards and Sudanese financial rules.
• Contribute to drafting, revising and implementing the financial section of the Operational Strategy (StratOp) for the country.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting and operational financial management throughout the contract period.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management within an international or humanitarian context.
• Ability to coordinate financial activities across multiple sectors and partners.
• Strong knowledge of financial policies, strategic planning and compliance.
