Site Civil Engineer

About the role

Sketch Home Architecture & Design is looking for a motivated Site Civil Engineer to oversee the execution of civil works on ongoing projects in Omdurman, Khartoum State. The role involves coordinating on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction activities on site according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor quality control, safety standards, and project schedules.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Ensure proper execution of structural and civil works.
• Resolve technical and site‑related challenges efficiently.
• Track materials, quantities, and work progress on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and execution details.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and Bills of Quantities.
• Registration with the Sudanese Engineering Council is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of MS Office.
• Experience with engineering software for design and analysis.
