Reinsurance Assistant (Hybrid, Khartoum)

About the role

The Reinsurance Assistant will join FIXITY Reinsurance Brokerage in Khartoum, working full‑time in a hybrid setting. The role supports the brokerage team by handling documentation, data analysis and client‑service tasks related to reinsurance treaties and facultative placements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise placement slips, treaty documents and other brokerage paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records of reinsurance treaties and facultative placements.
• Gather, analyse and compile data for reports and market submissions to regional and international reinsurers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, track deadlines and ensure regulatory and company compliance.
• Respond to client inquiries, prepare meeting materials and assist in implementing risk‑advisory recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with insurers, reinsurers and internal staff.
• Proficiency in basic office software and willingness to learn new digital tools.
• Interest or background in insurance, reinsurance or financial services.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic or other regional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, insurance or related field preferred.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality and continuous learning.
