Registered Nurse

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is for a Registered Nurse at Khartoum Teaching Hospital in Khartoum. The nurse will deliver high-quality patient care, support medical procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including health assessments, wound care, and medication administration.
• Assist with medical procedures and monitor patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families on health management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse license with current accreditation from a recognized regulatory body.
• Diploma or degree in Nursing (or related field); additional BLS/ACLS certifications are a plus.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, wound care, and medication administration.
• Ability to recognize medical emergencies and intervene appropriately.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
• Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical record systems is advantageous.
