Programme and Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a Programme and Supply Chain Coordinator to support TB, HIV and malaria interventions across Darfur, Sudan. Based in El‑Geneina, the incumbent will ensure effective programme delivery and robust supply‑chain management in a conflict‑affected environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation and oversight of TB, HIV and malaria programmes across Darfur states.
• Participate in technical working groups and programme review meetings to align stakeholder actions.
• Conduct field monitoring visits to assess service delivery, facility functionality and programme performance.
• Monitor implementing partners, map NGOs, CSOs and health facilities, and ensure alignment with national strategies.
• Oversee supply‑chain operations including forecasting, procurement coordination, storage and last‑mile distribution.
• Maintain reporting tools, assure data quality, validate data and integrate it into DHIS2 and LMIS systems.
• Track supply‑chain performance, identify risks such as delays or losses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare regular technical, operational and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in public health, health sciences, management, social sciences or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in programme management, supply‑chain or M&E within health or development contexts.
• Demonstrated experience working in conflict‑affected or hard‑to‑reach areas.
• Strong knowledge of public‑health programmes, specifically TB, HIV and malaria.
• Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and monitor performance.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
