Group Cash Transfer (Cash & Markets) Manager

About the role

The Group Cash Transfer (GCT) Manager will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of group cash transfer programmes in Darfur, working closely with local partners, emergency response rooms and community organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop group cash transfer programmes, including assessments, implementation plans, timelines and budgets.
• Manage partnerships with NGOs, CBOs, government agencies and other stakeholders, providing technical guidance and ensuring coordination.
• Oversee programme implementation, fund transfers, beneficiary registration, cash distribution and monitoring.
• Develop and manage programme budgets, track expenditures and ensure compliance with donor and organisational financial standards.
• Deliver training, capacity‑building and awareness‑raising activities for staff, partners and communities.
• Lead monitoring, evaluation and learning processes, analysing data to inform programme improvements.
• Supervise and mentor project staff, support recruitment and ensure a safe, collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, humanitarian assistance or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in humanitarian or development projects with a cash and voucher programming component.
• Proven project management experience, including programme design, planning, implementation and monitoring.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis and compliance.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
