Service Engineer (Construction Machinery)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer specialized in construction machinery to lead technical service operations across Sudan, providing guidance and support to dealers and ensuring high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for technical service operations in Sudan, guiding, supervising and evaluating work performed by regional distributors and proposing improvement plans.
• Provide technical guidance and on‑site warranty service to dealers’ after‑sales teams, ensuring high‑quality repairs.
• Conduct regular customer visits within the assigned territory to maintain and strengthen key relationships.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for dealers and end users on product operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate communication between end users and maintenance centres, offering technical consultation and training.
• Guide dealers in preparing spare‑parts procurement lists based on service needs.
• Supervise dealers’ after‑sales service departments to ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with the Technical Service Manual.
• Monitor product failure trends, report major issues promptly and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Travel throughout Sudan as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Repair or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on service or maintenance experience with construction machinery.
• Strong technical knowledge of loaders, excavators and similar equipment, including structure, working principles and performance.
• Proven troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Experience servicing major OEM brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Sany or similar is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout Sudan.
• Fluency in English.
