Accountant – Full‑time, Khartoum

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Accountant to join Nawa Medical Services in Khartoum. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the company’s financial health within the medical‑supply sector.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Oversee payroll accounting, ensuring correct deductions and tax compliance.
• Assist with internal and external audits, and support tax reporting activities.
• Provide input for financial planning and budgeting initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within healthcare or medical‑equipment supply.
• Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using financial software tools for bookkeeping and reconciliation.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll processing and tax compliance.
