Senior Partnership Manager

About the role

The Senior Partnership Manager will lead the development and management of strategic partnerships for the International Rescue Committee’s Sudan West response. Working closely with program, grants and operations teams, you will ensure partnerships are aligned with IRC’s PEERS policy and donor requirements, delivering high‑quality services to vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and embed the Partnership Excellence for Equality and Results (PEERS) framework across the country program.
• Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with local NGOs, INGOs and other stakeholders, including risk assessment, sub‑award administration and monitoring.
• Facilitate systematic partner feedback, document responses, and ensure continuous improvement of partnership relationships.
• Represent IRC in coordination meetings, maintaining effective communication with external partners.
• Support the Partnerships Coordinator in drafting agreements, overseeing project implementation, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership or alliance management within humanitarian or non‑profit settings.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, risk management and results‑oriented partnership principles.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
• Senior‑level professional who is solutions‑driven and committed to humanitarian impact.
