Programme Development and Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Programme Development and Quality Coordinator (PDQC) ensures the smooth management of program processes, from proposal development to grants reporting, supporting donor compliance and programme quality across the country programme.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high‑quality narrative and financial reports, update the DRC grants management system (Dynamics ERP) and maintain internal tracking tools.
• Coordinate proposal development, including writing guides, calendars, and ensuring alignment with CHS, gender, AAP and lessons learned.
• Support grant relationships, donor communications, and compliance monitoring, including preparation for donor visits and audits.
• Assist programme teams with donor rule interpretation, budget flexibility, and approval processes.
• Link MEAL processes with programme implementation, monitor technical goals and contribute to internal reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of UN/INGO experience in proposal writing and grants management.
• Strong project management and leadership experience in multi‑sector humanitarian programmes.
• Ability to work rapidly with field staff and remote teams under strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proposal development and technical writing.
• Grants management using Dynamics ERP or similar systems.
• Donor compliance and reporting (EU/ECHO, FCDO, UN donors).
• Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) integration.
• Procurement planning and quality assurance.
