Senior SRH Manager – Darfur, Sudan

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Manager to lead its SRH portfolio across West, Central and North Darfur. The role ensures that emergency SRH interventions follow the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) and global best practices, supporting vulnerable populations affected by conflict and displacement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all SRH operations, including clinical management of rape, antenatal/post‑natal care, safe deliveries, and EmONC referrals.
• Oversee basic emergency obstetric and neonatal care (BEMONC), syndromic STI management, family planning, comprehensive abortion care, and menstrual hygiene management.
• Engage with regional and national SRH working groups and partner agencies to close service gaps.
• Provide training and coaching for healthcare providers and ensure high‑quality M&E data collection.
• Manage SRH commodity stocks and support transition to comprehensive SRH services as needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing SRH programs in humanitarian or emergency settings.
• Strong knowledge of MISP guidelines and best practices for emergency SRH.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with health authorities, NGOs, and community partners.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
