Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation

About the role

The Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation (M/E) supports program performance and accountability by implementing evidence‑based management at the field level. Working within International Medical Corps, the role provides technical guidance for designing methodologies, tools, and data systems that meet global M/E standards.

Key responsibilities

• Mainstream IMC’s Global M/E Guidelines across field activities and adapt tools to each project phase.
• Design and coordinate needs assessments, situation analyses, and ensure they inform project design.
• Develop results frameworks, theory of change, logframes, and M/E plans with appropriate indicators.
• Identify and manage budgets and resources required for M/E activities.
• Establish a participatory M/E framework, design procedures, and create harmonized data collection tools.
• Represent IMC in M/E and assessment working groups and promote PSEA standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data management within humanitarian or development programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with program teams, partners, and donors.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
